TAKE A BITE OUT OF DIVERSITY Initiative

Role: Strategist and Program Manager

TABOD was a company-wide cultural awareness month devoted to promoting diversity through food. I collaborated with the heads of the three Discovery Employee Resource Groups to design the logo, flyers and coupons for the event, as well as recipe cards that were available in The Cove, Discovery's onsite restaurant and cafe, detailing how to make each cultural dish.

Goal: promote affinity group membership and boost sales at The Cove

Worked with another team member to program and plan Asian Heritage Month celebrations at 1Discovery Place.

FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY Asian Cultural Heritage Month Event

During Asian Heritage month, almost every day was full of activities. the event that I planned personally was Food Truck Fridays, a three week long reoccurring event that featured local Asian food trucks. 

Food Truck Friday consistently had one of the highest employee engagement rates for a Discovery affinity group event.
